When visiting Varberg, bathing is a must. During the summer, there are several lovely beaches to choose from. Apelviken and Läjet are the most visited beaches - it was here that windsurfing first started and began to develop in Sweden. In winter you can visit the thermal baths or any of the SPA facilities available. Even as early as the early 19th century, people came to Varberg to strengthen their health and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. No matter what type of relaxation you are looking for - Varberg has something for you and the right conditions to make you feel good, as well as a tradition for it. Varberg also has a vibrant golf culture and the hotel cooperates with Varbergs GK to offer deals and golf packages.
