Functionalist building
Clarion Collection Hotel Etage is located on Stora Gatan, in one of Västerås' most iconic functionalist 1930s buildings. The name derives from the fact that the hotel really is on several levels, with an unusual glass lift on the outside of the façade. The entrance is on the top floor, which means you take the lift up to reception and then down to the rooms!

We know the importance of being able to stick to your exercise regime, even when you're travelling. At Clarion Collection Hotel Etage, our guests have access to the nearby Nordic Wellness gym, which offers both fitness and weight training. We also have a Compact Gym which is free of charge to our hotel guests.
Attractions and activities
From here, you're close to both historical attractions and natural scenery. You're within walking distance of the Cathedral and the harbour, where boats take you out onto Lake Mälaren and any of the Västerås archipelago's 300 islands. The hotel is located in one of Sweden's regions with the most stately homes, and within a 20 km radius you'll find an incredible eight golf courses.
