Two-part restaurant concept

Ahaan and Plah is a twin restaurant concept, with Plah offering a seasonal tasting menu with varied dishes. Both menus have evolved over the years, based on the influences of Norway combined with a deep understanding of Thai cuisine drawn from regular visits to Thailand - "Thai food is about freshness, and the balance between sweet, salty and bitter", says Terje Ommundsen, who oversees both Plah and Ahaan and is renowned as Norway's best Thai chef.

Afternoon tea

Why not unwind with a lovely afternoon tea on a busy Saturday at Ahaan? Every Saturday between 12:00 and 14:30 you can enjoy an oriental version of afternoon tea, with both sweet and savoury delicacies. Choose from a selection of different teas including the famous Monsoon Tea, which grows in harmony with the forests of northern Thailand, without the use of deforestation. This is a popular destination, so remember to book afternoon tea at least 24 hours in advance!
