Soak up the elegant decor of To Søstre at Sommerro as you enjoy Oslo's best afternoon tea. Relax amongst the greenery and lovely interiors, infused with natural light. The designs were inspired by Asbjørnsen & Moe's adventure, Østenfor sun and Vestenfor moon, with matching tea sets designed by GRECODECO and William Edwards. And, for the curious, the name "To Søstre" ("Two Sisters") is derived from the Oslo Lysverker project, led by the architects Bjercke & Eliassen.

The British head chef, Jonathan Howell, has blended the best qualities of a classic afternoon tea with our own Sommerro touch. Alongside the award-winning pastry team, Jared Jiann Lih Chuah and Aziz Muhammad, you can savour a full suite of sweet and salty dishes – from sandwiches to scones and a rich array of desserts. Which delicious treat will your fingers alight upon? The cornerstone of our menus is top-quality seasonal ingredients, so there is always something new to try.

Champagne trolley and self-playing piano

At To Søstre you can peruse our Champagne selection, offering the best of Les Cinq Filles. Or, if you prefer, enjoy a tasty tipple from our tipsy tea menu, alongside our large selection of non-alcoholic drinks. As you sip your drink, you can also relax to the sound of our self-playing Steinway Grand Piano, one of the few examples in Norway. With tunes composed by To Søstre's own music curator and jazz pianist, Maren Selvaag, the music completes the atmosphere.
