Energetic location
Stavanger is commonly referred to as the energy capital of Norway. And we can certainly vouch for that. The city is a popular destination for tourists too, coming here to watch sporting events and enjoy Stavanger's stunning natural surroundings, such as the Preikestolen ("Pulpit Rock"). The Clarion Hotel Energy is situated right in the heart of all the action by the entrance to the Stavanger Forum sports and congress area.
Architecture, design and care for the environment
It is not only the location of the hotel that is unique! This stunning hotel was designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Snøhetta. Inspired by the Preikestolen's characteristic shape, it is covered in aluminium tiles as a tribute to Stavanger's canning heritage. The interior is just as impressive as the outdoor facade, with designer Arne Jacobsen furniture and Philippe Starck, Floss and Montana design details all over the hotel. There is great care for the environment too with a grade A energy efficiency rating.
Unique conference facilities for up to 4,500 people
The Clarion Hotel Energyis designed to facilitate meetings between people and has a great range of conference facilities and flexible solutiions for up to 1,300 people in an area covering 1,800 square metres. The first floor of the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere with designer furniture, delicious food available at the Kitchen & Table restaurant and refreshing beverages in the bar. A walkway provides direct access to the Stavanger Oilers home ground, the DNB Arena where a number of other events are held. There are thus facilities for up to 4,500 more right next to the hotel.

The hotel has a well-equipped gym and plenty of options for outdoor exercise in the area. Go for a swim in the idyllic Mosvannet or Stokkavannet lakes, or head to the Sormaka hiking area with great routes for walking or jogging!
